Women in Neurosurgery (WINS) has a mission of encouraging women neurosurgeons to realize their professional and personal goals, and to serve neurosurgery in addressing the issues inherent to training and maintaining a diverse and balanced workforce.

Therefore, we fully support finding solutions for the significant difficulties that black applicants face during the residency application process.

WINS will continue to provide resources and mentorship for students, residents and faculty seeking to improve the specialty.
